Camp Events  

 

All of the camp events are included in your camp fee. There are plenty of events planned for the whole family. If you are interested in day trips there are plenty of Historical Sites within a short drive of the camp. Most notably being the Black Hills Area and the Museum of the Furtrade.

Daily Shooting Events (traditional style firearms, open iron sites, patched round ball, flint or percussion)
Smoothbore Matches
Knife & Hawk Events (No more than 4" hawk blade, natural handle)
Primitive Archery Events (Period correct bows and arrows only)
Seminars and Demonstrations
Kids and Women's Games & Events
Evening Games & Entertainment
Raffle and Auction

Cannon & Mortor Shoot
               Practice Day on Tuesday, Competition on Wednesday with Standard Bullseye Targets

Elk Hunt & Elk Feed
               Raffle Tickets will be sold in camp Saturday & Sunday for the Elk Hunt. The winner
               will get to hunt one cow elk on the neighboring elk ranch on Monday. The winner will
               also get to keep the hide but the meat will be processed for a camp meal on Wednesday
               night. All campers are invited to the feed and are asked to bring a side dish. This should
               be a great family event.
