About Camp
Cross Ranch State Park offers camp sites spread out over a meadow, near where Lewis & Clark camped, with lots of old growth cottonwood trees for shade. This area is rich in history. There are Several Historic Sites Within a Days Drive from the Rendezvous Site. The River Bank is Very Steep. Access is Limited From the Camp Site. There will be NO Swimming in the River.
Long & Short Term Primitive Camps and a Modern Camp Are Available
Camp Rules Will Apply in Primitive Areas from Saturday the 19th thru Saturday the 26st
State Park Rules Will Apply (Included in Pre-Registration Pack and at the gate)
Above Ground Fire Pits Required By State Park (min. 6" above ground)
Non Period Items Will Be Covered At All Times
Appropriate Camp and Dress Required At All Times
Period Dress Is Required While Loading and Unloading After Friday the 18th
Changing Tent Will Be Available at the Main Gate If Needed (Pack your primitive clothes on top)
One Hour Loading and Unloading After Friday the 18th
All Pets Will Be On a Leash and Under Control, Owner Responsible For Clean Up
Clean Hooters, Fire Wood, Water, Garbage Dumpster Will Be Available On Site
Groceties and Ice Delivered Daily
No Horse Camp Available
This is Wood Tick and Mosquito Season. (Protect your pets too)
